Since Janesville was settled in 1835, Janesville residents have served proudly for the USA. Lets explore this history starting at the “War of the Rebellion” ( Civil War) Monument at the top of Courthouse Park. We will walk through Downtown Janesville and talk about the various parades and patriotic events that have happened in our city. We will make our way to The Armory and Corn Exchange Park to see the monuments to WW l and WW II. One the eve of Independence Day, lets share stories of Janesville citizens who have served our country proudly. This one hour tour begins at the Civil War Monument in Courthouse Park and ends back at the park. Tour starts at 10AM and costs $10.
